I know it's only Monday, but that doesn't mean we can't look ahead does it?
Here's a quick glance at a few of the games this week that should be interesting on the Show-Me side of the line:
O'Hara at Sedalia Smith-Cotton 7 p.m. - Smith-Cotton handed St. Pius X their only loss and is ranked No. 8 in the Missouri Class 4 poll. A win for O'Hara can legitimize the Celtics to a lot of people.
Smith-Cotton can essentially wrap up the West Central Conference with this victory.
Park Hill at Liberty- Both teams are 2-1 and have a common opponent in Columbia Hickman. The win would be big for either team and more importantly would give them a little breathing room above the .500 mark.
St. Pius X at Lawson- For two teams that have made playoff runs over the last decade in Class 2, these teams have only met once, in 1999.
The Warriors are in Class 3 now, so this is the only chance the two teams have to meet up. Lawson is the defending Class 2 champs, but hasn't had a big victory this season to really put them on the map.
