FIRST TEAM
Elayna Briggs, Olathe Northwest, junior. Regional champion in the all-around took fourth at the Kansas state meet with a score of 35.950. Was also a regional and Sunflower League champion on the beam. Chosen first team all-state in the all-around by the Kansas Gymnastics Association, an alliance of coaches and judges.
Beth Copeland, Olathe East, senior. Second in the all-around at state with a score of 36.275. Chosen first team all-state in the all-around by the Kansas Gymnastics Association. Was also a state, regional and Sunflower League champion in the floor exercise.
Candice Owen, SM Northwest, senior. Took third at state in the all-around with a score of 35.975. Also took second at state in the floor exercise and was a regional champion on bars. Selected first team all-state in the all-around by the Kansas Gymnastics Association.
Annie Pauls, Olathe East, senior. Kansas state champion in the all-around with a score of 36.500. Also a state champion on the bars, and the Sunflower League champion in the all-around and bars. Chosen first team all-state in the all-around by the Kansas Gymnastics Association.
Hannah Quillec, SM East, junior. Took fifth at state in the all-around with a score of 35.400. State, regional and Sunflower League champion in the vault. Named first team all-state in the all-around by the Kansas Gymnastics Association.
