FIRST TEAM

•Ryan Engle, Olathe North, sophomore. He was at his best late in the season, placing sixth at the Kansas 6A state tournament with a 693 series after an eighth-place finish at regionals (647). He averaged 196.9 for the season.

•Henry Haake, Shawnee Mission South, junior. He placed third at the Kansas 6A state tournament with a 724 series. He was 10th at regionals (645) and ninth in the Sunflower League (617). Averaged better than a 220 during the league, regional and state tournaments.

•Tanner Kilmer, Lawrence, junior. Consistent throughout the season, he surged at the end with a third-place finish at regionals (705) and an eighth-place finish at the Kansas 6A state tournament (683).

•Christian Smith, Sumner Academy, senior. Won the Kansas 5A-1A state championship with a 777 series and games of 254, 245 and 278. He also placed fifth at regionals with a 665 series and averaged 209 for the season.

SECOND TEAM

Matt Beeghly, Shawnee Mission West, freshman; Brett Dowell, Shawnee Mission Northwest, junior; Garrett Hayhow, Olathe South, junior; Alex Thompson, Gardner Edgerton, junior.

GIRLSFIRST TEAM

•Abby Baker, Shawnee Mission West, sophomore. Won a regional championship with a 651 series, placed eighth in the Sunflower League and 25th at the Kansas 6A state tournament (568). She averaged 198 for the season.

•Morgan Benton, Sumner Academy, senior. Placed 13th at the Kansas 5A-1A state tournament with a 578 series and finished third at regionals (525). Benton averaged 198 and won the Bishop Miege Invitational with a 642 series.

•Emilee Dodson, Olathe North, senior. Was the top Kansas City area finisher at the Kansas 6A state tournament, placing 10th with a 627 series while leading Olathe North to a third-place team finish. She averaged 170.9 for the season.

•Jennifer Wood, Olathe Northwest, senior. Consistently one of the top bowlers in the area, Wood averaged 199.7 for the season. She placed second in the Sunflower League, third at the Olathe city tournament, fourth at regionals and 18th at the Kansas 6A state tournament (581).

SECOND TEAM

Katie Constant, Shawnee Mission South, junior; Samantha Leatherbury, Turner, junior; Kendra Marr, Olathe North, junior; Vanessa Sanders, Shawnee Mission North, senior.
