400 meters FIRST TEAM: Roland Denson, Ruskin, senior. He won Missouri Class 3 state championship in 49.60 seconds. Kansas Relays champion and undefeated through the season. Best time was 48.42.

SECOND TEAM: Keene Niemack, Lawrence Free State, junior.

HONORABLE MENTION: Robbie Haden, Rockhurst, senior; Danny Herring, Shawnee Mission West, senior.

800 meters FIRST TEAM: Huns Pitia, Staley, junior. He was Missouri Class 3 state champion with a time of 1:55.93. Won four medals at state. Sectionals champion.

SECOND TEAM: Connor Wilkins, Shawnee Mission East, sophomore.

HONORABLE MENTION: Travis Boyett, Shawnee Mission West, senior; Brady Jacobs, Park Hill South, senior.

1,600 meters FIRST TEAM: Max Storms, O’Hara, senior. Finished fifth in Missouri Class 4 in 4:17.12. Second at sectional meet.

1,600-meter relay Shawnee Mission West (Cordi Pascal, sophomore; Jordan Rogers, senior; Ray Brenson, senior; Danny Herring, senior). Second in Kansas 6A with a time of 3:18.48.

3,200-meter relay Olathe East (Ryan Hocker, junior; Cody Banks, senior; Andrew Sheets, junior; Ben Schmitz, senior). Kansas 6A state champions with a time of 7:54.39.

Javelin FIRST TEAM: Johannes Swanepoel, Shawnee Mission South, junior. Won the Kansas 6A state title for the second year in a row with a throw of 214 feet, 5 inches. Regional champion.

High jump FIRST TEAM: James White, Grandview, junior. He’s the high school national record-holder with a leap of 7 feet, 5 3/4 inches. Won titles at Kansas Relays (7-3 3/4 ) and Missouri Class 4 state meet (7-2).
