FORWARDS

•Shea Groom, Liberty, sophomore. Finished her season with 38 goals and 13 assists. She was voted the Missouri Class 3 offensive player of the year by coaches.

•Jordan Jackson, Blue Valley West, senior. Had 25 goals, 19 assists and led Jaguars to Kansas 6A state championship. East Kansas League offensive player of year and Gatorade player of year in Kansas. National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-American who will play at Nebraska.

•Morgan Marlborough, Lee’s Summit North, senior. Scored 69 goals this season and finished with 232 in her career, both Missouri state records. Led Broncos to Missouri Class 3 state championship match. She also earned the Missouri Class 3 player of the year award and will play at Nebraska.

•Claire Nicholson, Olathe East, junior. Scored 38 goals in 21 games and led an Olathe East team that was undefeated until loss in the Kansas 6A state championship game. She was Sunflower League’s offensive player of the year and a Kansas 6A all-state first-team selection.

MIDFIELDERS

•Mandy Laddish, Lee’s Summit, junior. Scored 26 goals and produced 15 assists. She led the Tigers in scoring and helped them to a district title. She earned a spot on the Parade All-America team and was selected first-team all-state in Missouri Class 3.

•Ashley Washburn, St. Thomas Aquinas, junior. Scored 21 goals, had 13 assists and led Aquinas to a Kansas 5A-1A state runner-up finish. She scored her team’s lone goal in a 2-1 state title match loss and was a first-team Kansas 5A-1A all-state selection.

•Nia Williams, St. James Academy, senior. Williams moved from defender to midfielder during the season this season, solidifying St. James in the middle of the field. She helped the Thunder to its second straight Kansas 5A-1A state championship. She had 12 goals, eight assists and was a first-team Kansas 5A-1A all-state selection.

DEFENDERS

•Libby Jandl, Shawnee Mission East, senior. She was the Sunflower League’s defensive player of the year and a first-team Kansas 6A all-state selection. She led a defense that posted nine shutouts in 16 regular-season matches. She has signed to play soccer at Duke.

•Katie Murphy, Notre Dame de Sion, senior. Selected the Missouri Class 2 defender of the year. She also was all-Missouri Western Region and Western Region defender of the year. She anchored a defense that notched 13 shutouts and placed third at state.

•Jenna Stones, Olathe East, senior. She was captain of a defense that shut out 14 of 21 opponents on the way to a one-loss, Kansas 6A state runner-up finish. She scored four goals and was selected first-team Kansas 6A all-state.

GOALKEEPER

•Emma Crenshaw, Blue Valley West, sophomore. She allowed 12 goals in 21 games for the Kansas 6A state champion Jaguars. She contributed to 12 shutouts and was instrumental in her team’s 19-2 season.
