No. 3 Kearney 56, at Excelsior Springs 0: The Bulldogs scored 42 points in the first quarter. Ashton Hiatt and Dillon Brink each ran for three touchdowns in the period. Brink added another in the second quarter before Kearney put the dogs on a leash.

No. 4 Bishop Miege 29, at De Soto 15: Justin McCay’s second touchdown (he had scored in the second quarter on an 11-yard pass from Max Shortell) put the Stags into the lead for good. Bobby Germinder had bookend TDs for Miege — both of them 3-yard runs.

At No. 5 Orrick 50, St. Mary’s 0: Kalija Rogers had 190 yards rushing in nine attempts, and Aaron Blyth rolled up 155 yards in 11 attempts for the Bearcats, who moved to 10-0. Rogers scored four touchdowns, and Blyth had two.
