At BLUE VALLEY NORTHWEST 38, OLATHE NORTHWEST 25: BV Northwest’s Koby Chadick passed for a touchdown and ran for four more. Chadick rushed 23 times for 207 yards.

At GARDNER EDGERTON 49, SCHLAGLE 0: Bubba Starling scored on runs of 70, 5 and 18 yards for Gardner Edgerton, ranked third in The Star’s big-class poll.

At LAWRENCE FREE STATE 38, OLATHE EAST 7: Free State jumped out to a 21-0 first-quarter lead. Olathe East’s only touchdown came on a 73-yard pass from Carter McEntee to Chris Fields.

ST. THOMAS AQUINAS 47, at MILL VALLEY 21: Mike Armentrout and Dagan Reed scored two touchdowns each for Aquinas and Richard Davila ran for one score and passed for another.

SHAWNEE HEIGHTS 14, at TURNER 10: Shawnee Heights’ Donnie Lockhart ran 60 yards for the game’s opening touchdown.

At TOPEKA SEAMAN 53, SUMNER ACADEMY 34: Sumner Academy’s Benny Parker had a 92-yard kickoff return and a 43-yard reception for touchdowns.
