Olathe Northwest senior Trey Bales swished a mid-range pull-up jumper a few seconds into the Greater Kansas City Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Challenge boys contest Friday at Shawnee Mission South.

It was all Missouri the rest of the way in a 104-91 victory.

Rockhurst senior Kyle Wolf and Liberty North senior Zach Starr scored four points apiece in a 14-0 run after Bales’ bucket to open the game.

“We wanted to jump on them quick,” said Wolf, who finished with a team-best 17 points. “Coach said Kansas had won the last four or five years, so we were really motivated to play in this game and I think we played really well together.”
