Huffman made it his preseason goal to finish his high school career with a state title, and he followed through Saturday by winning the 200-yard freestyle in one minute and 40.79 seconds. In helping Park Hill South to a sixth-place team finish, Huffman also took second in the 100 freestyle and participated on the 200 freestyle relay team that placed second.
