Townson followed her 23-point night in a win against Belton with 29 more in a losing effort against Raytown. The Falcons are 5-3. Townson continues to find much of her offensive production from the free-throw line, where she made 16 of 20 attempts over the two games. She added 17 rebounds, 10 steals and nine assists.

Jake Mosiman

** SCHOOL: Lawrence

** YEAR: Senior

Facing rival Lawrence Free State, Mosiman was impressive from long range in a 55-49 win. He drilled eight of 11 three-pointers and finished with 30 points, going 11 for 17 from the field. Mosiman scored 10 of the Chesty Lions’ 15 fourth-quarter points and was hoisted on the shoulders of reveling classmates after the victory.
