Keane put together back-to-back top-notch scoring performances to lead Sion to wins against Jefferson City and Harrisonville. In the victory over Jeff City, which came Friday, she scored 23 points. She then she added 16 more against Harrisonville on Tuesday, helping the Storm improve to 9-3. Keane is shooting 44 percent on the year and plans to play basketball at Harvard next year.

Dainan Swoope

SCHOOL: SM South

YEAR: Sophomore

SPORT: Basketball

During the Raiders’ 76-38 whooping of rival SM North, Swoope powered undefeated SM South with 35 points — nearly outscoring the Indians on his own. Swoope, who is the reigning Sunflower League freshman of the year, went nine for 13 from three-point range in the victory.
