It was recently brought to my attention that basketball in Kansas area is starting to make a fundamental shift in how the game is coached. I just wanted to throw my few cents in; the motion game is becoming more and more popular but coaches have a hard time teaching it and unless it is taught correctly it can do more harm then good. Thus, I am making a push for the return of the fundamental drive for the continuity offenses such as the flex, shuffle, and pick & roll.
If you a coach I'd love to hear your opinion on this. Also, if your looking for a great continuity resource you might check out Coach Mac's Monster Flex series at http://www.coachmac-basketball.com. I bought his monster flex for $10 and discovered it was well worth it. I believe he has other offensive series, but I can only speak to the flex.
Bring back the fundamentals of the game!
