Saints Soccer Team Heads for State

The Saint Thomas Aquinas Saints soccer team is on a rampage heading into the 5A state soccer tournament Friday and Saturday, which they may very well win for the sixth straight year.

The Saints play Liberal in the state semis on Friday at 5. If they win, they will play for the state title Saturday at 2. The games are at Bonner Springs.

In the Regional semifinals the Saints beat Washington 10-0. Then they beat Bonner Springs 9-0. And then Lansing 8-0. For those of you scoring at home, that is a 27-0 aggregate.
